He pauses in mid-bite, the chocolate fudge cake with
sweet creme filling squeezed between his fingers. He
glances at the snack cake and back at Kubark, staring
the other down for quite some time before shoving
the small remaining piece of cake into his mouth.

                              “ Sorry, that was the last of it. ”
